General terms and conditions of use

PciLab is the result of an experiment carried out by the InOc Aquitaine ethnopole as part of the call for projects for the French inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage by the Ministry of Culture. Inspired by the JocondeLab experiment that it is testing and developing, PciLab explores the possibilities of the semantic web or web 3.0 by crossing the practices of the national inventory of ICH and the protocols of mediation by semantic research. It provides access to the data of the National Inventory, combining valorization for the general public with scientific and documentary requirements.
It also allows the exploration of new forms of navigation within online cultural resources and complements the information in the National ICH Inventory with data from the free and collaborative online encyclopedia, Wikipedia.
